OxFounders Africa Tour

We're incredibly excited to announce what's next for OxFounders Global: our Africa Tour! We're incredibly excited to be a part of three incredible startup ecosystems, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa, and give a platform to some of these countries' most talented startup founders.

​

Across 3 events, we are bringing together 30 startups and countless investors, founders, accelerators, diplomats, and journalists for a dazzling showcase of some of the continent's fastest-growing startup hubs. Our pitching startups will predominantly focus on the area of impact, which includes companies that create social, economic, or environmental impact.

​

Each of our Tour events will have n audience of c. 80-100 investors, entrepreneurs and key ecosystem members in person, as well as a virtual panel of investors based in Oxford and the wider UK 🇬🇧.

23 October - Virtual

We're hosting a virtual pre-tour event in Abuja, Nigeria's vibrant capital, in collaboration with the global Triple Helix conference, which aims to bridge the gap between academia, industry, and government.

​

We are opening our applications to early-stage founders based in Abuja to come and pitch their projects to a panel of high-profile judges and an audience of active investors.

Our first event is in Lagos, Nigeria's largest and most bustling city. We can't wait to be part of this thriving tech ecosystem.

Our tour finishes off with a grand finale in Cape Town, the heart of the growing South African startup scene, with a high concentration of top accelerators, incubators, and investors, as well as brilliant founders.
