We've just come back from Istanbul, and we're thrilled with how our first event has gone!! 🚀🇹🇷🏆
We held a pitch competition for ten of Türkiye’s best early-stage startups.
Our jury included $600m-exited Nevzat Aydin, Global Chief of unicorn app Getir, Hatice Evren, Central Asia director of Plug and Play Tech Center, Lale Can Gözübüyük, and General Partner of Startup Wise Guys, Günce Önür.
We had representatives from nearly every major EMEA venture fund, and counted over $9bn AUM directly present at our event. We also had state TV coverage, UK government officials, and over 30 startups present. 🌍
4 out of 10 of our pitching teams are already under talks for investment since our event. 🔥
We can't wait to build on this success in Mexico City and Bangalore. 🇲🇽🇮🇳
